Accessibility Statement

We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. Housing information should be available to all.

What we have done

• The site is built to work with the keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is visible as you move through it
• A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content
• Headings run in a logical order, and each page has a single main heading
• Text and background colors were chosen to meet contrast guidelines, and text resizes without breaking the layout
• Every form field has a visible label attached to it, and errors are explained in words rather than by color alone
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
• The site respects the reduced-motion setting in your operating system
• The layout works down to small phone screens without horizontal scrolling

The standard we are working to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are not claiming a formal certification, and accessibility is something we keep working at rather than a box that gets checked once.

Where we know there are limits

Property search links on this site open TempleDreamHomes.com, which is operated by JD Walters Real Estate and uses third-party listing software. We do not control the accessibility of that site or of the listing data it displays.
